Welcome from Principal Ramos

Dear Lowell Community, 

I am eager to begin my third year as the proud principal of Lowell School. We have made important strides toward realizing our vision and mission as a united community over the last two years, and I’m excited to keep our momentum going.  I’m especially excited to announce the Dual Language Immersion program opening at Lowell for grades Kindergarten and 1st grade this school year. Dual Language adds another dynamic to the great programming already offered.

This year, we’ll continue to be committed to our vision to promote each individual with the skills necessary to succeed at the next level. We will do that by working to fulfill our mission to teach for learning in the pursuit of excellence. Our particular focus this year is to grow students' capacity to convey what they’ve learned through writing in all subject areas. We believe a focus on strengthening those writing skills will help students better succeed in all areas.  Additionally, we are focused on offering quality academic and enrichment activities for students before and after school so that they can be successful both in school and in a hobby or passion.

Our community is filled with wonderful families, generous and helpful community partners, and amazingly dedicated school staff. Strong collaboration between all of us means that we can grow our students' hearts and minds! Together We Roar: Success for Every Tiger, Every Day!
